Course Options
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, it is strongly recommended that learners have successfully completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, as this provides the essential knowledge and skills required to progress onto Level 4 study.
A good standard of English and Maths is also recommended, ideally at GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent, to support understanding of the more complex technical content and assessments at this level.
If English is not your first language, please contact us to discuss whether any additional learning support may be available.
If you have not completed AAT Level 3, you may be required to complete a skills assessment or take part in an informal discussion. This will help us assess your current level of knowledge and ensure you are placed on the most suitable course and study pathway.
Please note that individuals who have been declared bankrupt or who have a criminal record may not be accepted for AAT membership, which could affect eligibility to sit examinations. We recommend contacting AAT directly for further guidance if this applies to you.
